For those craving something heartwarming, the Mokthuk, or beef momo soup, is a must-try. If your palate leans toward spice, don't miss the Spicy Nepali Style Chow Mein, which packs a punch, ensuring every bite is bursting with robust flavors.

Vegetarians will also find themselves well catered for, with options like the Vegetable Momo served with a fragrant veggie broth soup, or the rich Mixed Vegetable Curry that pairs beautifully with fluffy rice or puri.

Named for a traditional, staple barley flour of the Tibetan diet, "Tsampa" (རྩམ་པ་) Restaurant offers up all the foundational Tibetan foods one would expect. I ordered the Sandeko Momos marinated in Nepali style (chilis, onions, coriander - everything tastes better with coriander), together with a Nimbu Pani (Indian style lemonade with spices). By request, the Sandeko momos were moderately spicy (about a 5 out of 10 on a spicy piquante index), with nice consistency in the meat. The momos took a bit longer to arrive than expected. The service was down-to-earth, straightforward, and the suggestion to try the Sandeko momos was a good one. Thanks Tsampa Restaurant! Although I chose to dine in the main sitting area, there is a cozy and spacious patio out back, which amply insulates one away from the bustle and traffic on Queen West. Variety is the spice of life. Among the many options in Little Tibet / Parkdale for momos and more, why not give Tsampa Restaurant a try?

Good price, good good, good service. I went there yesterday around 3pm. I am happy to try this restaurant, it was my first time yesterday. Definitely there are more times, dine in and online delivery. Today, I ordered the food for delivery. The food was amazing. The delivery package was so good. I will definitely keep ordering, thanks for the good food.

Super hot and delicious! Tofu dish set the insides on fire, but in a wonderful way! The side bread was also very rich and tasty. Bright but cozy dining interior with an atmospheric attached patio. Worth visiting again to try another vegetarian dish!

Our first stop on our Little Tibet journey was Tsampa Cafe, after hearing good things about the momos online. We got the beef momo soup (mokthuk) as per an online recommendation, and it was delightful! The broth is milky and savory and the momos are very hot (be careful!) and bursting with hot soup. It also had some nice vegetables. I'd definitely get this again. The mango lassi was also good, and a bit thicker than I'm used to. Overall I'd definitely come back to try more of their offerings!

Small Tibetan cafe with authentic vibes. Simple but comprehensive menu with many Nepali dishes. Sandeko dishes are invigoratingly spicy and the potato filled patties (Shabaley) are very nice as well. The lemonade was super refreshing.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this establishment. The owners were exceptionally friendly, and the food was of exceptional quality and well worth the price. I will certainly make a return visit to Toronto when I have the opportunity.
